Child on Bench (Youth) - Image Credit Free Range Stock - Angela SmithThe Albrighton Trust is looking for disabled and special needs young people aged 15 to 25 to take part in their outdoor activity programmes running throughout 2016.

The “Me & You” project has been funded by the Big Lottery in order to address the lack of opportunities for young disabled people during their transition years and to help them explore their options for the future. The six week programme is designed to build confidence and self esteem through participation in outdoor practical activities based around horticulture, conservation & wildlife and angling.

Throughout the programme participants have the opportunity to learn new skills, discover new interests and spend time outdoors in the tranquil, natural environment of the Albrighton http://ed-trio.com Moat and Gardens. It is hoped that during this initial six week stage the young people taking part will discover a new interest or passion which they can then choose, with the support of the “Me & You” team, to develop further.
