PapyrusAs a part of Wolverhampton Suicide Prevention Week (5th September to 11th September) and their on-going commitment to tackling suicide, The City of Wolverhampton Council is organising PAPYRUS awareness training.

Delivered by PAPYRUS, Suicide awareness training is a 90 minute training which aims to break down the stigma associated with suicide risk. Suicide awareness training is a community-based talk and no prior knowledge is required. This session is particularly useful for individuals who come into contact with people at risk of suicide or acute distress.

Please note:  This training is suitable for individuals who have had no prior suicide prevention training.  It will therefore NOT be open to those who participated in the SafeTALK training held in March 2016.  The session aims to explore beliefs and ideas relating to suicide across the community.

There will be two sessions on Tuesday 6th September at 10.30am and 2.00pm. Venue to be confirmed and refreshments will be provided.

If you require any further information or if you would like to book a place, please email stating the time you would like, along with your contact details.
