Access to Business, established in 2004 provides services supporting local people into employment, self-employment and social enterprise development and also recruitment services, office services and training courses for local businesses.

 

Business Development Officer

This is an exciting position to develop the newly established Access to Business’ trading arm BOS Business Office Solutions CIC, which incorporates  Back-office Business Services. The postholder will coordinate, develop and nurture relationships with new, existing and potential clients and deliver sales targets to generate commercial unrestricted income. BOS will also train and support volunteers and A2B beneficiaries.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of business, marketing and commercial background or direct experience of income-generating activity in the voluntary or business sectors. Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. Experience of supporting vulnerable people to develop skills and confidence is desirable. Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows and be competent in the use MS Office applications.

This is temporary position until 30th June 2017 which may be extended subject to funding or new income being secured.

 

Salary: £22,000
