Working as part of a team of interpreters, the successful applicants must be of registered qualified status and will need to be able to work on their own initiative as well as being a good team member.

Further training will be offered to successful applicants to develop their skills and the opportunity to develop your experience in a mental health setting. Applicants should be able to demonstrate their ability to interpret between BSL and English and show aptitude to wok in a range of community interpreting settings with an understanding of equal opportunity issues.

Applicants should state their preference of working full or part time hours on the application form. BID Services are happy to negotiate shorter working days for interpreters wishing to engage in a part time contract.

 

Salary: £23,063 to £27, 175 pro-rata, dependant on experience
