Funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund to provide services relating to the development and implementation of the Street Teams Project concerning the sexual exploitation of children and young people.

 

Project Worker (Maternity Cover)

The project worker will specifically work with BAME community members and BAME young people at risk of, or affected by CSE.  The worker will offer intensive 1:1 support, run small group work sessions, deliver education and training sessions to students, community groups, parents and leaders.   Attend local forums to facilitate statutory, voluntary and community cohesion.

The worker will have social work, youth work, health or other similar professional qualification; experience of working with young people, community groups and professionals; trained in child sexual exploitation and experience of working with vulnerable children. The worker must be a driver with use of a car for work purposes.

 

Salary: £25,000 – 28,000 PA
Location: Wolverhampton
