There are two different types of funding available within the Active Citizens Fund:
1 – Participatory Budgeting that will fund projects up to £500 and is available for projects that demonstrates a link to reducing crime, anti-social behaviour, harm and/or vulnerability. Applications will be presented to the community for them to decide which project should be funded – with a decision by the end of the meeting. Active Citizens Small Grants that will fund projects up to £2,500 (or up to £5,000 for exceptional projects) that demonstrates a targeted link to reducing crime, anti-social behaviour, harm and/or vulnerability which also involves community participation/volunteering to ensure that projects are sustainable longer-term.
Next deadline for applications: 5pm on Tuesday 3rd January 2017.
