The Kaleidoscope Plus Group will be participating in the Birmingham Walking out of Darkness 2017 event to help raise funds for the charity.

The Walking out of Darkness event is a 10 mile walk and mental health festival which will be taking place at Cannon Hill Park on Saturday 6th May 2017.
One of the main reasons for the charity getting involved this year is because at The Kaleidoscope Plus Group, in addition to providing a range of commissioned services we also currently offer limited ‘Safe Spaces’ support groups, which are aimed at people who may have had or are experiencing suicidal thoughts or those who have been affected by suicide.
The aim of these groups is very much around giving people opportunity to talk about suicide in an informal, safe environment. Due to limited funding for this type of work, we can only deliver so many, but we aim to offer many more reaching all our local communities.
We would be delighted if you would consider supporting the event which you can do in a variety of ways:
Directly participating in the walk or encouraging your, colleagues, students or staff to take part in the walk. Details for registration can be found by clicking here.
Raising funds on our behalf – all you need to do is set up a fundraising page by clicking here.
