Our Community Matters project aims to invest over £5M into the Black Country between 2016 and 2019 enabling 2,800 people to achieve their potential and move closer to the employment market through a variety of tailored and holistic provision.

 

Finance Officer

The Finance Officer will play a central role within the Community Matters Programme Management Team and will be responsible for managing the finances of the Community Matters programme, ensuring that all finance data provided by delivery partners is eligible and complies with both internal and external reporting requirements. Working with the Financial Controller you will administer payments to our delivery partners and engage in budget re-profiling exercises as necessary. You will have experience of administering financial transactions, producing management information reports against budgeted forecasts and reconciling variances. You will be able to understand complex guidance and have the ability to communicate this information to colleagues, partners and stakeholders ensuring that information can be easily understood and put into practise.

 

Salary: £27,000
Location: Dudley
Job Type: 37.5 hours per week, fixed term until December 2019.
