Citizens Advice Wolverhampton (CAW) delivers a European Social Fund and Big Lottery Funded Partnership; Building Better Opportunities Bridges Project (BBO Bridges).  

The project engages with the most disadvantaged people across the Black Country aged 25 years and older who are searching for employment or Economically Inactive.

The project supports the development of a range of employability skills through one to one targeted goal setting, Group activities and work experience.

 


Project Administrator

CAW seeks a motivated and experienced administrator to support the project staff on the Bridges Programme. You will be required to provide efficient, effective, professional and confidential administrative support to the bridges staff including diary management, maintaining electronic records and maintaining participant training packs, in accordance with the company policies and the funders (ESF & BL) guidelines..

The successful Candidate will ideally have experience supporting European Social Funded and Lottery Funded projects with Knowledge of Management Information Systems. The candidate will have strong verbal and written skills, Interpersonal and organisational skills.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Updating Specialist intervention records on CRM and MIS
  • Compiling letters for participant training modules and files for participants
  • Assist with the new starts and leavers to the project
  • Support  regular project reporting
  • Obtain feedback and conduct reviews and evaluations
  • Assist with phone calls and appointment setting
  • Taking minutes of meetings
  • Word Processing and Letter Writing
  • Dealing with telephone and email enquiries
  • Keeping diaries and arranging appointments

Candidates Suitable for this Opportunity will:

  • Have experience in an administrative role within a professional service
  • Have experience of working with Service Users (participants) face to face
  • Have the ability to work to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills to a high business standard
  • Confident and assertive with the ability to communicate with a range of partner agencies
  • A flexible approach and the ability to be results focused, easily adapting to change
  • A good, clear, up to date understanding of Gender Equality, Equal Opportunities and Diversity and its application to the provision of the service
  • Ability to monitor and maintain records producing information for monthly meetings and reports
  • Ability to use IT systems and packages

 

 

 

Salary: £16,646 (£8,323 pro-rata)
