Our vision is for Birmingham and the Black Country to be a Living Landscape alive with nature and rich in wildlife that is valued, enjoyed and protected by everyone.  We are currently looking for a temporary Administrator to provide one month’s cover for this role.

 

Administrator

A substantial element of the Administrator role is public facing. The administrator is often the first point of contact for the public with the Trust so confidence in dealing with public queries and a welcoming attitude are essential.

Public facing duties include:

  • Providing a warm welcome to visitors to the Trust
  • Dealing with public enquiries by phone, email and in person
  • Booking Trust facilities and providing hospitality to guests
  • Working with volunteers to ensure high quality customer service at all times

An equally substantial element of the role is to serve WTBBC Trust Council and sub-committees to organise meetings and provide high quality minutes and reports.

 

Other duties include:

  • Maintaining the Trust’s records for human resources and health & safety
  • Secretariat support to the Birmingham and Black Country Local Nature Partnership arranging quarterly meetings, taking minutes and sending out reports
  • Administration of policies and procedures
  • Ensuring building maintenance is undertaken and IT processes are followed
  • Managing post
  • Maintaining stocks of office supplies
  • Other duties as required

 

 

Salary: £10 per hour
Location: Birmingham and Black Country
