European Social Fund (ESF) Access to Employment Funding Workshop

19th June 2017 (10-12.30)

At The Workspace, All Saints Road, All Saints, Wolverhampton, WV1 1EL

WVSC are working in partnership with European Social Fund (ESF) and the City Council to deliver a European Social Fund (ESF) Access to Employment Funding Workshop

The European Social Fund (ESF) is aiming to extend employment opportunities for all, but recognises that some workless people are a long way from the job market, and are not ready for mainstream education and training programmes.

Grassroots organisations are good at reaching people and can help reduce unemployment and inactivity amongst very disadvantaged populations. ‘Community Grants’ will help local groups do just that, by providing up to £10,000 for projects run by organisations with an annual turnover of less than £150,000.

We are holding a workshop at 10-12.30 on 19th June at the Workspace, All Saints Road, Wolverhampton, WV1 1EL to support potential applicants interested in applying to deliver ESF programmes. The workshop will provide information on programme opportunities and bid writing hints and tips. There will be also be an opportunity to talk to the ESF Community Grants team/ WVSC / Wolverhampton Council regarding potential applications.

This workshop is aimed at Wolverhampton voluntary and community sector groups and groups whose main beneficiaries live in Wolverhampton.

Registration is at 10am and the workshop will begin at 10.15am.

There are 25 places (1 per organisation).
