Female Genital Mutilation & Forced Marriage training


The school summer holidays are approaching, and for some so is the ‘cutting’ and ‘wedding’ season, where some girls are more at risk of FGM and FM.

Wolverhampton Domestic Violence Forum is offering refresher training on how to spot indicators, and respond to children affected by/at risk of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and Forced Marriage (FM). You can access any one of the following four FREE 2 hour Training Sessions for teachers and professionals working with children who may be at risk from FGM and FM:

  • Tuesday 13th June: 09:30 – 11:30 (Holy Trinity Catholic Primary School)
  • Wednesday 14th June: 14.00 – 16.00 (Boardroom 1, Red Lion St, Ground Floor)
  • Monday 19th June: 09:30 – 11.30 (Civic Centre, committee room 4, 3rd floor)
  • Tuesday 20th June: 14.00 – 16.00 (Fallings Fire Station)
