Independent Domestic Violence Advisers & MARAC Co-ordinator

Wolverhampton Domestic Violence Forum is a long-standing independent charitable organisation, working in partnership to stop domestic violence and abuse, to ensure the safety and empowerment of victims and their children, and to bring perpetrators to justice. Integrated partnership working is key to achieving our aims. We work closely with a number of local partnerships, and collectively develop and implement multi-agency strategies and action plans towards meeting these aims. 

We are looking for an IDVA and a Criminal Justice IDVA.  We would like to hear from you if you are a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with the right qualifications and experience to help us to develop our work around combatting Violence against Women and Girls. You will provide a high-quality frontline service to high risk victims of domestic abuse so will need to demonstrate experience in crisis intervention, civil and criminal justice remedies, safeguarding, and safety planning. The successful candidate will work within a multi-agency MARAC framework and manage a case load ensuring each client receives the appropriate service individual to their needs.

We are also looking for a MARAC Co-ordinator to act as a high risk domestic violence information and advisory source to multi agency partners and developing multi agency arrangements in line with national guidelines. 

The salary is c£22,000 (dependent on experience) and is a 12 month contract.
