The Royal Wolverhampton Hospital Trust is creating a Council of Members to support us with our patient and public engagement strategy, be actively involved in shaping our future services, and have a say in how our services are run.

We are hoping that this exciting new approach with patient and public engagement will soon be providing many benefits.

The Trust is now seeking applications from members of our local community to become our first council members. Would you like to apply, or do you know any patients or carers whom you feel would make good candidates?

To be considered as a member, individuals need to be over the age of 16, have the necessary time to commit, be a local resident, and to have recent experience of being a service user of the Trust (or carer of a patient).

Council members will meet regularly, and will receive out of pocket expenses, support, and necessary training.

If you would like to find out more please visit our website, or contact the Patient Experience Team on 01902 695333 for further information.
