Gateway Family Services CIC is seeking a Chair to lead its well-established Board of Non-Executive Directors.

Since it was founded in 2006, Gateway has carved a strong reputation for the design and delivery of health and social care services. Now, the Board and Management are looking for a person who can help Gateway Family Services to grow and raise its profile.

In a time when Public Health and other health prevention budgets are reducing, Gateway is recognising a need to broaden its horizons and look for new and emerging areas of work. So, as well as maintaining and growing links with commissioning organisations and like-minded potential partners, it is hoped that the new Chair will help to identify and secure new opportunities, and navigate the organisation into advantageous new networks and forums.

This is a voluntary role. Knowledge of social enterprise or the wider not-for-profit sector would be advantageous, along with previous experience of being part of a Board.
