The role aims to enhance the quality of life for service users by assessing their needs and advising on housing, finance, education, health and social issues, and by collaborating in a professional manner with other agencies. Maintaining detailed records of service users, he/she will build strong relationships which will allow support service users in accessing appropriate professional help whilst building confidence to move their lives forward.

 

Case Work Manager

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• 2 years previous experience in a Social Worker/Case Management role or similar field of work.
• A degree level qualification in Social Work, or similar field of work.
• Be detail-orientated, able to convey complex information and to deal sensitively with vulnerable service users.
• An understanding of the issues surrounding homelessness and other related issues. Knowledge of relevant regulations relating to Housing and Benefits.
• Excellent written communication skills to produce reports as required.
• Good computer skills and the ability to maintain databases.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• An ability to build relationships with clients from a range of backgrounds
• An ability to understand the complexity and demands of our service users and their diverse social, economic and cultural backgrounds

 

Salary: £21,424 per annum
Location: Wolverhampton
