Business Advisor

This is an exciting position to join Access to Business to support our RAISE (Raising Aspirations, Inspiring Self Employment/Social Enterprise) project funded by ERDF European Regional Development Fund.

The successful applicant will provide an advisory service to new, existing and potential entrepreneurs from disadvantaged backgrounds to aid and support them in the establishment and sustainability of their own businesses/self-employment. To work with, and effectively manage, a portfolio of clients (individuals and SMEs) arranging, monitoring, reviewing and evaluating their programmes of support.

Services are provided across the Black Country.  The post will be based in Wolverhampton however the job will include local travel to support workshops and 1-2-1 beneficiary meetings at outreach venues across the areas of Dudley, Sandwell and Walsall.

The successful candidate will either hold a SFEDI Business Advice Award or a degree in business, finance or equivalent and be able to demonstrate relevant experience in delivering business support services.

Excellent business sense, strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and experience of delivering workshops and presentations are required.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows and be competent in the use MS Office applications.

 

 

Salary: £22,000 Pro-rata
Location: Wolverhampton
Job Type: 3 days per week – Temp Maternity Cover until 30th November 2018
