Good Shepherd Support Ltd is a financially autonomous social enterprise which was created to satisfy the need of homeless individuals or families facing a new tenancy without the basic furniture and household items to make up a home, particularly beds as sleeping on the floor has a serious impact on health.

We are currently applying for registered charity status as our current waiting list for items has outgrown the surplus available and we need to be able to apply for funding to cover everyday running expenses.

Everyone who receives donations of clothes, household goods or furniture is referred through an agency i.e. Wolverhampton Homes, Good Shepherd Ministry, Strengthening Families Hubs,

The Haven, Citizens Advice Bureau and the Welfare Advice Service from Wolverhampton City Council.(see enclosed reference from Wolverhampton Homes who are by far our largest referral agency).

We collect quality items through churches, house clearances given to us by prestigious estate agents such as Berriman Eaton and auction house Fielding’s of Stourbridge and many businesses in Wolverhampton.T he management team and staff are, except for our van driver, are volunteers and with out this commitment we would have been unable to provide this excellent service.

 

We urgently need pieces of quality furniture, beds, winter clothes for women and children, bedding of every description, towels, all household items including working electricals.

We can collect quickly either from individuals homes or from your church. We have a waiting list of needy Wolverhampton families and we need urgent donations before Christmas.
