The new General Data Protection Regulation comes into force on 25th May 2018, replacing the Data Protection Act 1998.

There are some really big and important changes in the new regulations which will affect your service users, and your organisation and it’s reputation if you aren’t properly prepared. This means that all organisations – from community groups to registered charities, and from public institutions to private companies – will need to plan and prepare in advance in order to be ready for their introduction.

Participants will be made aware of the changes, what they need to do to prepare for them; and hear about tools and resources that could help them to get ready. There will also be an opportunity to start thinking about and planning what this means for your organisation.

Don’t miss out, book your place now (a maximum of 2 people can attend from any one organisation).
This course is FREE for voluntary and community organisations that are based in, or currently delivering services, in Wolverhampton. Priority for places will also be given to these organisations.

Non-VCS organisations and organisations from outside Wolverhampton are welcome to register for the course. If allocated a place, there will be a charge of £30 for these external organisations.

This is the second time this workshop has been run.

Please book your place through Eventbrite.
