The Wolverhampton Compact is a commitment between the Statutory Sector and Voluntary and Community Sector in Wolverhampton which aims to ensure we work better together.
The Wolverhampton Compact Partnership came together in 2004 to develop the Compact document, which was launched in April 2005. A Monitoring and Implementation Group has been set up to steer the implementation of the action plan including.
The Compact includes the agreement document based on 10 principles of how we work together, 6 codes of practice (see below) and a dispute resolution procedure.
The work on the Compact is undertaken in a partnership arrangement between the Wolverhampton Voluntary Sector Council and the Wolverhampton City Council. The two organisations work closely to build upon the good relationship between the sectors in order to continue to improve partnership working and, therefore, outcomes for the communities of Wolverhampton.
