The People In Partnership Consortium (PiP) is a Wolverhampton Community Interest Company made up of Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) stakeholders, that will bid for and deliver public sector contracts; through a supply chain of quality assured organisations. The partners managing the consortium are local infrastructure support organisations: including WVSC, BME United, WOW and YOW.
What is the aim?
The aim of PIP is to improve outcomes for people and communities across Wolverhampton by developing, supporting and maintaining a flexible supply chain of Voluntary and Community sector providers, that will deliver more public services and therefore maximise social value. The vision of PiP mirrors that of the Wolverhampton City Strategy: “Prosperity for all and creating opportunities that encourage enterprise, empower people and re-invigorate the city”.
- Develop a new public service delivery and funding model to assist Public Sector Organisations to; deliver quality public services that have a high social value
- Develop, support and manage a diverse supply chain of local VCS organisations
- Provide capacity-building support for local VCS organisations who fill form part of the supply chain

As a stronger, more attuned public service delivery model, PiP will respond to the changing commissioning environment, become a sound investment opportunity for investors and act as a public service funding and delivery model for commissioners.
